Senna, the Movie
.
Just returned from San Rafael , no hut-tubs or peacock feathers that I could see. We saw a just released movie named, Senna. Here's a link to Fandango about the movie. The most exciting driver to ever race Formula One, the handsome, charismatic Ayrton Senna became a Brazilian national hero and an icon to racing fans worldwide. But you don't need to know the first thing about racing to be thrilled and moved ... I've never been interested in watching vehicle racing, to each their own, so I wasn't sure that I'd enjoy it. It's wonderful but I found it quite emotional. Ayrton Senna was an amazing race car driver and some of the auto footage is remarkable. But it's really much more than a movie about racing. An awful lot of the sophisticates were crying during the movie so be advised. Brief note, Aryton was a man of faith, the movie is not about his faith and that is a minor role. However, some here have expressed such antipathy about this and/or doubt me that I want everyone to know ahead of time. It's a very good movie. . |
