Yes, things are ugly and will get uglier, but the economics you cite are not the crux of the matter. The total and complete decadence of the morals of our society is the problem. What you cite is only a part of and an indicator of that problem.

We need a law to limit the income of rich people. Who is rich? Anybody who has more money than I have, the greedy bastards!

I think we should start by limiting the income of movie stars, athletes, and rock and roll musicians.

These 400 guys will also spend it, or more accurately INVEST it and create ZILLIONS of jobs, once they have confidence that they will not be regulated or taxed into the ground.

You can't blame someone for holding onto their funds when there's no place where they can invest them without undue risk.
