Picked up a great Benz for really, really cheap! Not sure why so cheap, but it looks great. I just cant identify the model.... anyone have any ideas? And I love the chrome star center caps. Much better than the plain Jane ones on my 560 SEL. Only complaint is that the ride is harsh and it feels cheap... MB quality sure has taken a dive!!! Here is a pic, what you all think?

Ya think?? I must admit, I like the look of the new one. But this old one was ugly as can be. Almost as bad as the Benz series it tried to copy.

I think they were trying harder to rip off the Jag S type, which incidentally happens to be one of the ugliest cars of this era IMO. The roof line of the Amanti tries to imitate the S type but looks more like the fat-roll back window of the Chrysler LHS or an 80s Cougar. I am really surprised they even released this car, the new Kias are actually not too bad. I test drove a Forte "Koup" SX before buying the GTI and I was really impressed with how much they had done for 16k and change. Now, only if they stuck Hyundai's 274hp turbo 4 from the sonata into it...
