Germany's trade surplus surpasses China's meanwhile US runs trade deficit

The trade deficit for the last 12 months, per April 2011 (“The Economist” June 18), merchandise only, was minus $680,9 billion U.S. dollars. A distant No. 2 in the world is the U.K. with a minus of $153,1 billion

By comparison China has a surplus of $172,5 billion, Japan $61 billion, Germany $209,1 billion and Russia, a surplus of $159,4 billion.

Notice the Socialist countries whooping economic arse on the Capitalist countries. That's not what they teach in grade school...

They also teach that the US won WWII. Can't prove it by this.

Germany's numbers prove that they didn't have to completely gut this country.
