Well at least the republicans will be winning by weight.

engatwork 10-11-2011 03:55 PM

Are you claiming to refuse to vote for him because he's black?

panZZer 10-11-2011 04:50 PM

Nope - I voted for -"That One". The thing about americans voting for a black man just to prove that we are past a certain pont --was part of the last election, thats all I was saying.

elchivito 10-11-2011 05:33 PM

nobody in the GOP mainstream takes Cain seriously. He won't be the candidate.

kerry 10-11-2011 07:20 PM

Nobody who says, "If you don't have a job it's your own fault." will get elected in this economy.

MTI 10-11-2011 07:36 PM

is the corollary to that statement . . . "It's also your fault you lost your house and all your retirement savings, too?"

Botnst 10-11-2011 07:59 PM

Christie wont be a VP candidate. He's too independent-minded to play second fiddle.

I'm betting Romney/Caine and an Obama win. Not that Romney is awful but that the strict conservatives and social conservatives both have a problem with Romney, which is why he simply cannot break out of the pack.

Romney will try to placate the conservatives by asking Cain to be second. Cain IS acceptable to the conservatives but no thrill runs up the legs of social conservatives with either or both of them.

None of the Repo candidates give a damn about the liberal-left-progressives, who wouldn't vote for a Repo even if he was the provable physical reincarnation of FDR or Karl Marx. So the Repos will hope to get the base out in huge numbers and pull in more than half of the so-called 'independents'.

I'm voting for somebody not in either party. Dunno who yet. Just not another big gov party animal. They are what got us to this juncture. No more voting for those clowns for me.
