Five years ago today......
..... I stood on the lawn of the courthouse with a bare footed red head and made it legal. Thought then I knew how lucky I was..... I was wrong. I didn't know the half of it. Thank you for being in my world, my darling wife Meridythe. I love you so very much.

Why barefoot? I know the old belief is to have them barefoot and pregnant but why today?

Why barefoot? Because it's Darling Wife. There was grass. It was warm. Shoes came off.

It's cold here so I didn't think it was warm at that place. Could be wrong. It is to be a high of 55 here today. I haven't gone barefoot for a long time.
