Awesome Euro-Spec cars

This is a pretty interesting. No wonder there was such a gray market in the 80s.
How German oil companies stopped the U.S. from getting awesome European cars

Interesting read, but it doesn't explain stuff like us not getting the RS200, Skyline, etc from all around the world when we would (as I would guess at least) have a good market for them. I think emissions is still a huge part of it
