Leave you guys alone for a few hours and what happens?

A couple of days back I opened a thread by SHJ and was looking at some fancy graphics and so forth and began wondering what publication it might have come from. Upon further examination I could not find even one thing on the message that looked to have been written by him.

So, I flagged it to the mods and said it might be a copyright violation.

What happened after that I have no idea but the next day or so it became apparent that things had gone south.

I had no thoughts that SJH might leave the forum over it and am disappointed it ended that way.

I am sorry that Larry seems to have gone too. (in an unrelated matter).

As far as being sneaky and deceptive I don't think you can find any post in which I misrepresented anything regarding the "great copyright fiasco". I am not ashamed of anything I did.

I am disappointed that Tyler chose to identify me as the person who flagged the thread. I thought that such things were supposed to be confidential.

If his fancy graphics etc. were complimentary of your hero obama would you have ratted him out? Somehow I doubt it. Your bias is crystal clear, just as it was when you were a mod.

Good to see a nice, neutral, sophisticated perspective.

The man's from Indiana, not Wisconsin...

Perhaps the most efficient way to run this forum is to formally abandon the infraction system and just let the mods do all the heavy lifting. Really, WGAS if this place turns into Benzworld?

I do like cheese.

I am not sure when it became a negative thing.

If it makes you feel better, Larry's hiatus was brief. He's still keeping the dream alive.

Good. Larry and I seldom agree on anything political but in all other ways he and I seem in tune.

Layback and I are like that too.

I dont know if I would go as far as refferring to this individual as 'Plain Folk', But I would summerise this individual as being someone very disatisfied with themself, and their life, who constantly feels the need to down other people.
And challenge my decision to take the High Road on a consistant basis.

So yeah..dont sweat the small stuff.

I think that we're both right in this instance.

So the "hare and tortoise" story always say. However, fast and steady can beat slow and steady in a race.
