That Golden Gun.....
Apparently Q-Daffy had a number of gold plated and solid gold guns, but the one that was taken from him.... What brand is it?
I'm a Browning Hi-Power owner myself, but I don't think the one he had when he was captured is a Browning. I also don't recognize the logo on the grips. Anyone know who made this pistol? |
Gotta pic?

Look for it on eBay.

If that's not a Browning Hi-Power, it's a clone, such as FEG...

That's a fake. I have the real one, bought it in Nigeria.

Looks like a BHP to me.

Sorry about no pictures. I don't know how to post them, but the real reason is that it just slipped my mind.
It looks like a Browning Hi-Power, but there is a safety release on the ejector side. Mine is from 1968 and the safety release in on the side without the ejector gate, i.e., the left side. In close ups I have seen a logo that looks like an old German Double Eagle. The logo is up high on the grip; like it could be visible even with your hand gripping the stock. But I like the e-bay slant. :) |

Well that's good enough for me. If it is not a Browning it is sure a good copy.
Really, the grips could be aftermarket. |
Its a BHP done up by a custom shop, or Fabrique Nationale.
