First amendment? What first amendment?

Clip of incident: "Your First Amendment rights can be Terminated" NBC Chicago - YouTube

Story:

Red Tape - 'First Amendment rights can be terminated': When cops, cameras don't mix

And a small excerpt:
Quote:
"Your First Amendment rights can be terminated," yells the Chicago police officer, caught on video right before arresting two journalists outside a Chicago hospital. One, an NBC News photographer, was led away in handcuffs essentially for taking pictures in a public place. He was released only minutes later, but the damage was done. Chicago cops suffered an embarrassing "caught on tape" moment, and civil rights experts who say cops are unfairly cracking down on citizens with cameras had their iconic moment.

No charges filed, just police harassment as usual.

"Our members were attempting to protect and respect both the grieving family members of the child, and the memory of the child herself during a very stressful time for all parties involved." -- wonder if the kid was a cop's daughter.

If this is a veiled snipe at Obama, Chicago was corrupt and vile long before Obama was so much as an ovum in his mom's ovary.

I never doubted that for a minute. It's where B.O. got his political beginnings and education as well.

No, this is an unveiled smack at Chicago.

You may not remember the 1968 Chicago democratic Convention, but I do.

On that one, plenty of blame on both sides, but the other side didn't bloody up any cops....

I'm for law and order, but not Richard Daley style.

For accuracy sake alone, the reported injury count on both the police and protestor side was pretty even, about 110 each.
