Freaky! "Solid" car is not so solid...
So the other day I was driving. And I still have this darn leak from somewhere above the a pillar. (another thread, so lets not get into that here! lol). Anyway, there was a small drip. So I removed it with my finger. It was where the a pillar cover and dash meet. When I did so, I noticed slight motion between the two parts as the car road over bumps and deviations in the road. Then I tried between the door frame and roof. Same thing.
I am sure this is normal. And I am sure most cars flex a bit here and there. Its just an odd sensation in something that seems so solid. On a Mark VIII one can tell if the x-brace weld snapped (behind the read seat back) because the car handling is changed a bit. Guess you can give it a try for giggles.
