Fresh garlic is very different in taste than garlic powder or garlic salt... very mild and smooth in comparison...

I'll keep that in mind if I ever need to peel a whole lot of garlic in a hurry. Usually I use one to three cloves at a time and just smash them with a knife before taking the peel off.

I like to clean 6 or 8 heads at a time and drop the peeled cloves into boiling salted water for a few seconds, then keep them in seasoned olive oil for snacks. I can eat them like popcorn. I'm going to try this out. Thanks!
