Found Some Stuff Laying Around

Found a W124 Grill in great shape. Also a perfectly working W124 Odometer reading 173K. What else did everyone do with their weekend?

i worked on an 03 yukon denial, got rid of the worthless autoride, replaced waterpump gaskets, belts, a headlight, and both drl's,what a pain those are.you have to remove the grille.that was yesterday, and today i went and got a rear end for my 94 suburban.and later i'm gonna go paint my really cool air pig.i don't know who made it but it is made out of 2 end caps for say a horizontal 80 gal compressor.stands about 2 ft tall and a foot thick.gonna paint it white and then add a mercedes trunk triangle logo on it.i'll post a pic later if i think about it.

Sounds nice. Do post a pic, I'd be interested to see one. The Don, at least you're bringing home the bucks I'm not.

Worked on a contraption I'm building in my garage. Hope it will go a long way to enabling me to start to bring some sembleance of order to the place.

Over the air digital TV

Put up an OTA antenna so I can finally kiss my cable 'provider' goodbye....

What? You mean I can watch "Dirty Jobs" . . . "SportsCenter" . . . "No Reservations" . . . "Sons of Guns" over the air? Wow!

Sadly probably not OTA.... But I was on the poverty cable package to start with, so I didn't get that content anyway and my service wasn't digital quality.

However, I plan to by getting Boxee Box to connect my TV to the Net and watch stuff online instead.

I got angry when the cable provider "repositioned" four channels (four of the six I actually watch) and demanded that everyone rent or buy a decoder box to see them, $110 or $3 a month.

I get fewer channels but now everything's full HD. Actually a slightly better picture than digital cable, or so the OTA crowd claims.... .

Of course I was joking. I keep a couple of antennas in the garage as backups. Last year, while living in a rental, I tried to live OTA for a month, but the location of the house made tuning for each channel, and the broadcast content left a lot to be desired.
