Margin Call -movie on 08 stock market derailment
High Star power in this movie ,Spacey ,Irons,Tucci,Moore,and many more.The director writer is J.C. Chandor ,the son of a Jeff Chandor ,a Meryll Lynch veteran Broker of some 39 yrs.The tucci character plays Chandor Sr. who ran some important derectives for the firm. Details of how and why the Mortgage Backed Securities failed or merkey but the reasoning behind these brokers getting large bonuses are enlightening ,basically how these crooks worked their talents.The Solomon Brothers firm invented the MB securities ,something I didnt know before the movie and this fiction based flick drawn from reality is well worth your time to watch.Guess who owns the Solomons building at this point in time ,Capital One.

loved every minute of the movie.
I once worked for Merrill Lynch. Leaving the place was the absolute best thing I ever did.

Typical LB ,coming in on a thread and disputing if it has any merit or is worth anyones attention.I mentioned that it was based in fiction which was drawn from real events, enough said.
