Hey everyone, why don't we ALL take up a collection and BUY Bill some hair. That way his head won't get sun burned in the summer time.

Thanks, all.

The day started with my father calling at 6:00 to see if I was up for breakfast at the diner. I said now I am. We had a good talk about a bunch of random stuff, some mom-related, some not. After breakfast we took a quick hike to check out a dam that some beavers are building up the street.

My daughter had a travel basketball game at noon so my father and sister joined me and my younger boys (the wife is recovering from the flu and subsequent bronchitis). Her team pulled it out in the last quarter and we followed it up with a late lunch at our favorite hotdog joint (had a Dixie Dog with pulled pork and coleslaw).

Finishing up the day with a little birthday cake and a couple beers. Not a bad day all things considered.

After all that good food, does your belly hurt? enquiring minds want to know.

Nah. While I don't eat junk often, my body adjusts quite well when it does happen.
