They dont want to show a picture of the car--because it looks quirky, I like the early 90's griffith 500 except the wheels and tires are too tiny, other than that its a great looking car.

TVR Cebera 4.5 for me please. They are one the best looking British cars I think.

I never cared for those at all. Those had a Rover V8 in them I believe?

Nah...don't like the wheels. Should be more rim showing.

Why have nearly all cars now have no deep rims to to outside?

I understand scrub radius geometry but the old wheels looked tough compared.

Interesting. What class is he running in? Is that a car that was offered for sale in the US?

The TVR has used a host of engines in their cars, everything from BMC 4 cly. to Ford V-6s and V-8s. Rover engines were also used along with I-6s from the Triumph TR250/TR6. My favorite is the TVR Griffith from 1964 to 1967 with the 289 Ford engine.

About 15 years ago there was a Griffith for sale near here. Before going to look at it I called my insurance man and asked how much to insure it. It would have been prohibitive so I did not go look at it.

Probably should have.

It would have made an awesome autocrosser probably.

The earlier ones were known to be crude with homemade huckleberry interior and wood reinforcement in the bodys that rotted--and very kit car like.
