Guantanamo, Now and Forever

This week was the 10 year anniversary of the detainment center.

No more orange jumpsuits, goggles and hoods. In their current cell blocks "cooperative captives get satellite television with sports, news and religious programming as well as Arabic soap operas."

Prison staff reportedly have "their own gym, housing and newsletter, dining rooms and first-run movie theater at 'Camp America' adjacent to the camps," in addition to an Irish-style pub, golf course and an on-site. drive-through McDonald's.

Each captive reportedly consumes almost $40 worth of food per day. That comes out to more than three times what the average American spends to sustain themselves each day, and 10 times the amount U.S. federal prisons spend to feed each prisoner.

171 Detainees, initially over 700

Operation Cost per detainee: $800,000 per year; 30X more expensive than a federal facility in US

Only 6 detainees have been convicted Since 2002

27% rectivisim rate; lower than US criminal justice system

89 of the remainin 171 have been approved for transfer to their home nation or a thrid party country.

Youngest detainee ws 13

Eight have died, six by suicide

Close that camp, send all the prisoners to Detroit, they'll beg to go back home and behave.

HAHAHa, I learned the 'East-Side Kick' at a young age. Used to work in the 8-mile/Meirers area.
Had an old 4-door Cadillac..big flagship sumb$tch.

Made a wrong turn one day, and entered the danger zone.
This entire street was saturated with bad buggars who were doing wrong.
I had a choice..either take my chances by idleing thruogh the crowd..and surely being accosted.

OR...

Flooring the Caddy.

I floored it.

When the bad buggars heard the secondarys kick in, turned to see the nose of the Caddy rise up like a boat..their instinct for self preservation kicked in..whereupon they cleared the street, and let me pass.

It should also be mentioned here that in my lap was my .44...just in case.
