OD is too quiet---we need a thread on "Chem trails"

Well, that should stir up something.
I just caught a bit of this on the radio, today. It really seems far out lunatic fringe, but then maybe I have been given a dose so I really can't see the problem......

Youtube is full of "evidence" of chemtrails. Clicking on the suggested links brings you to evidence of angels, "crystals" (wtf?), signaling UFOs, etc. Interesting premise I suppose, we're all under mind control!

Personally I'd take a quiet OD over the reposted email spam I've seen lately.

I live about 45 minutes from Right-smack-dab-in-the-middle-of-Woo-Woo-land. I know or have met people who believe that there is a secret U.N. base in a remote canyon near Sedona, who routinely take their crystals up to one of the several "vortexes" to recharge them, who fill 55 gallon drums full of water from a spring that has "energized" water that cures cancer, neuritis, nerualgia, dengue fever, St. Vitus' Dance and The Yaws. They stay indoors with particle masks on when they see one vapor trail that happens to cross another, routinely have their "chakras" adjusted by so-called native American "Shamans", die in sweat lodges put on by charlatan hucksters, the whole nine yards. You name it, I have personally spoken to somebody who believes and lives it, including a number of people who believe they are not really humans but are aliens brought here from the Pleides who call themselves "walk-ons". The difference between these people and extreme hippies of olden days is they have, and willing spend, GOBS of money on this hokum.
My wife, an actual full blooded 4/4 blood quantum card carrying tribal member real live American Indian, god bless her will NOT allow me to figure out a way to make money off these dopes.

C'mon, we all know that chem trails are climate-change denial effort to temporarily reverse the effects of global warming by blocking the sun. Then the temps won't rise and they can "debunk" the science.

They're different from contrails, but look the same, only different and crisscrossing.

Are those "visions" caused by crystals as well -- of the methamphetamine variety?

Bush created the Chemtrails Program as a means to dummy up the US with drugs so that Obama would get elected, so that we'd go into massive debt with bailouts, so Jeb Bush could become a late Presidential entry sweeping into office in 2012 in a landslide. It's all coming together too.

I live on (below) one of the approaches for BWI, contrails overhead most of the tine--or are they chemtrails. Sure would explain my Conservativismm

I'm one of the old timers around here. Me and mine before me were here before anybody thought up all the new age stuff. Those folks don't bother me much, they're sorta entertaining and like I said, they somehow or other have money to spend. Most of them aren't particularly young, so I have to figure they made their dough first in fairly mundane lives and at some point afterwards had the time and money to look into "alternative" ways of thinking.

Now in your case, if I was you I'd git me one o' them particle masks.

I was thinking a supplied air respirator. No telling how fine the particles might be. Will an aluminum foil hat give added protection?

Yep, because not only are they testing chemicals on you, they're sending you subliminal messages. A good foil had will help you control those urges to watch reality shows on the Tee Vee.
