One can't help but suppose his rapid decline is related to the awful revelations of last fall and the disgrace heaped upon him.

I imagine that a positive spirit helped the orphan boys that sandusky molested in the shower also will do a lot better if they have a positive spirit as well. (That was sarcasm).
It is sad that Joe is dying but I am not sympathetic to him or any of the bums who contributed to the coverup of the despicable acts that occured.
