Matt Taibbi is a skilled writer. Here's a particularly nice line from that article:

...These people have run out of others to blame, run out of bystanders to suspect, run out of decent family people to dismiss as Godless, sex-crazed perverts...

Aside from being a nicely constructed sentence, it has the virtue of being true. In just about any other national campaign, Taibbi's words would be nothing but hyperbole, but this GOP primary season really is kind of insane.

It was but Coulter is a special sort of inspiration. The woman is way beyond the pale. She has essentially wasted her life. All fault resides in her enemies. She and her kin have the full truth, the necessary formula.

It's a shame that the conservative side is in such shambles, because there is merit to conservatism. Too much welfare or big govt. is not a good thing, and we've gone over to that in some spots in a big way.
