Confirmed - I'm not a collector. What would it be worth with a proper 280SE badge and no mold on the backside of the driver seat? Even the W111 coupe in one of the pictures isn't worth $45K.

these were a pair!! -- a brand new 6.9 and a brand new 300SD
at the Mercedes Benz Classic Center.

They were there over a year.

I took these pictures of them the first time I saw them together, in about 2008 at a visit ( I travel there a LOT)!
---on the showroom floor of the Mercedes Benz Classic Center USA at 7 Whatney in Irvine California in Orange County.


And they were both brand new, mint, practically zero miles, and could be said to be in museum condition.

I think the problem would be that each mile driven could diminish their value.

And they both are gone now but I don't know what happened to them, who bought them or what their final actual selling price was.

Oh yeah. A LOT more.
