Some friends and I moderate the TDIClub IRC Chat room... its turned into a great room: As I type this there are 32 people in the room (though most are away from their computers).

Would we want something similar for PeachParts? Adding another room to the server is very easy.

Maybe not a chat room for OD ~ could end up a snake pit. Friday night after a drinking session may be a problem. There is so much polarization. It often appears that way with posts on here. I would not wish that on our mods.

There would be some merit for the tech forums. We regularly have members stuck on the side of the road needing help.
Some time ago the idea of having a DD GTG streamed live onto a chat type forum ~ a global GTG !!! was suggested. It looked like it became too hard.
Will be interesting to see other members thoughts.

If people cause problems in chat they get booted The way the TDI chat works it's often car related, but sometimes not.
