Double barreled 1911

I'm going to have to measure the width of my 1911s to see if a double width would be comfortable in my hands.

This would be fun to shoot a few out of.

As one of the comments says..."So impractical…SO AWESOME!"

Double Barrel 1911

The nice thing...they kept many of the internals as standard and interchangeable, like the original 1911

What happens when one side has a failure to fire or a stovepipe? Does it blow up?

Did. Got to take it out to the range last weekend. She's happy with it so far, likes the stock and the sights. She'll be shopping for a scope soon though is my bet.

The stock is a Hogue overmold, the bright pink one, not the breast cancer pale pink.

And I get my 10/22 back. Seems like a win all around.

Except for all the fun I had shopping for custom 10/22 parts has made me want to build myself one...

Actually, I am not. I've been to the site quite a bit, but never joined. Nothing against them (that I know of), just kinda figured I didn't need another forum to have to keep up with.

Are you a member? How's the crowd there?

I have a Hogue overmold on a 10/22. Great stock. I love the heft it gives the rifle. Mine's a manly black however.

So far I have excellent experience, although my time spent is mostly related to the market place section.
It's quite organized and highly active, if you look at number of members online at any given day/night. Also, there is a lot of legal info and updates available.
