Should I do power mods to my E55?

Should I?? Right now I have visual/suspension mods, but no power adding mods.

Its plenty fast stock, but my god these things can make some serious power.

Guy on the E55 forum just cranked a 10.54 pass at 132mph....

Thoughts? Should I build a monster E55? Should I keep my E55 stock?

I already have quite a bit of fun trolling Ferraris, Porsches, Lamborghinis, etc and beating them.

If you like to say things like "it's like driving down the road throwing $50 bills out the window", have at it.

You could just buy a race car and drive it on a track. It is not just on TV, people really do that.

20% over drive pulley and EVO controller about $4K. This will give you 500+ RWHP on 91. You will need more tire and still have to be careful when tires are cold. When they are cold even moderate acceleration results in directional instability.

But what happens when you turn it in? Comp shows track time and 190 runs at the Silver State.

Depends. Is it your daily driver? If there is too much bhp and you want to really push it to the max you will be sacrificing the reliability of the car in comparison with a more modest modification. There are people on MBWorld who daily drive their E55. Some are running Euro charged HE, 180mm ASP Pulley, Some the Brabus K8 and others with just a more simple upgrades as filters and exhaust.

Just get a 240D. After you drive that for a while everything feels fast.
