About bloody time. How conveniently everyone forgets Al Sharlatan's sordid past when he shook down small time black recording artists for the New York mob, threatening them with reprisals from "the man" and staging boycotts of their concerts when they wouldn't pay up.

Actually the guy saying all of this is an ex member of the NAACP. He was the leader of the Garland, Texas, chapter.
He is rather well known for his Conservative views and from I have heard has not like The Rev. for quite some time. The ex-member is now a Pastor himself.

 IMHO Sharp is an over-highly paid Master Clown. Anytime there is a high profile gig, he gets trotted out. So into town he rolls..Big Willy style, and starts his harangue. I cannot help but be distracted from what he is trying to get across..My eyes gravitate to that 1967 pomp combination James Brown/Snoop Dog hair-do, and I just cannot for the life of me take him seriously. Maybee if he changed his image/appearance..............
