hmmm, you've had a more positive experience than I in that respect. Every home school person ive ever met has always been ****ed in the head in some specific, but complicating way that continues to bite them in the rear throughout their life.
You learn so many things in school that have nothing to do with the curriculum. I guess if the parents actually know what they are doing and can teach the kids, it can work, but it seems to me that home schooling always seems to amplify some failing of the parent in the child 10 fold.
For instance, take Thirdem as an example. If he exists as he claims, heres a kid who displays excellent writing and language skills, but yet sees no problem and does not understand why its wrong to create more and more alternate versions of himself, which is dishonest and lacks in basic integrity.
