Ask the doc for Propofol. I know why Michael Jackson liked it so much.
When I met with my gastro doc for my procedure last year, she gave me the instructions for drinking that clean out stuff. "If you can see through it, you can have it, broth, clear soup, but nothing solid or opaque". I said "I can see through whiskey". She had to agree. That garbage went down a whole lot easier with a shot of good rye.

By the way, if you're 50 or more and haven't had this procedure, you're a chickspit fool. Just do it.

The "side effect" of having Propofol is that there has to be an anesthesiologist in attendance, billing of course, while other meds that have similar effect don't.

My assistant had his last week...

Let's just say that he needed the extra two days off to recover...

The weekend (pardon the pun there) post-oscopy was just about as miserable as the stuff he drank down pre-oscopy...

And with that...

You can do it Tom; I had four of em that way, drive to the Dr's office, get it done and drive home. Let out a lot of gas on the way home and it doesn't even smell. I guess that when you get about 80 they kind of let up on that exam. Maybe not?

Couple of things . . . do not drive yourself to and from the procedure. I'm pretty sure your doc has already advised you about that. Post procedure gas is from the pressurized air used during the procedure, not you.
