Question Anyone use/used "Tires by web"?

I'm trying to buy some Nokian Wrg2's for my 300E but no one has them or for that matter has even heard of them!

I found and called tiresbyweb and they had them with free shipping, but I'm hesitant about forking over 500+$ to a company i've never used or heard of, any reviews? I've tried looking online for them and there are threads with reviews, but would you believe this; all the threads start off asking about if tiresbyweb and good and all of the responses to follow are about how so and so ordered a Nokian and it was the best tire ever and they all review the tires but not the company!

Any info???

Luke... sure Better off yelling to the hills to see if they answer.

I used to use tirerack, now I buy from discounttires.com
Tirerack does have an excellent review system, but I buy things like tires from the lowest qualified seller.

5 sets so far from discounttires, no issues

Hey Everyone,

I'm new to the forum, but this thread caught my eye!

I have only ever used Nokian tires on my 2004 BMW 325i, and i absolutely love them! I have used the WR-G2 when i lived in the Midwest, and the eNTYRES when i lived in Southern Texas. They were both excellent tires for what i needed them for. (ok, enough about the tires - sounds like there are a good number of reviews on them out there).
I am also a very loyal customer of the website you mentioned, TiresByWeb.com. I have bought 4 sets of Nokians from them now and i have nothing but good things to say. Friendly service, knowledgeable employees, FAST and also free shipping, not to mention they now give me a repeat-buyer discount on my sets.
I have used the Tire Rack and Discount Tire direct before, but they do not carry Nokians. Personally the service i received at discount tire direct was brutal, so i will not be shopping with them again.
If you are looking for Nokians - i definitely recommend Tires By Web.
Quite frankly though, the best way to find out all this out yourself is to just give them a call!

Best of luck on the tire search,

-Phil

Thanks guys for the info, I ended up getting my set from tiresbyweb, very friendly service and easy checkout, just waiting for the tires.. Yeah the Nokians seem like great tires but I called everywhere! Even the dealers the Nokian company gives on the site and they still couldn't get me the tire I wanted! So it was nice talking to people who knew about them and talked like they were as common as Goodyear!
