So if WE'RE "knee deep" in troll poo, how high is that on a troll? Although I suppose, since most trolls talk out of their arse, then "arse deep" would be the logical answer.

"How much poo would a troll poo if a troll would poo poo?"

It has been too quiet here lately. The Mods have banned all the leftie zealots leaving the righties talking mostly to themselves.

I've noticed since we've been without them, the vileness of the attacks are much more tame.

It makes discussing issues MUCH more mature.

C'mon...you know the situation is pretty lame when people discuss tailgaiters for 5 days...or tell everyone how drunk they got the night before.

I'm talking about today's Noob, who appears to be asking very odd questions and is so far only asking, not participating.

Because it wasn't about "true facts" about the Titanic, what songs you were currently listening to, or one of several other new threads that were all started today by a new member. I think the threads are now gone, so the context of the follow on posts is gone.

I interpreted it as a "don't feed the new troll who came from Sherwood Forest..."

How IS it trolling? You must have missed the odd threads started. I was commenting on it. Did I break a rule? Which, exactly?

You're breaking the first rule of "trolling". When your line is in the water and slowly moving along you don't just yank on the first bit of attention. You wait, maybe give it a bit of a twitch, let it lie dormant and THEN you yank it! I'm afraid you just aren't cut out to be a troll. Although the line asking about breaking a rule was a nice twitch.

I'd consider the initial posting to be more along the line of "chummimg".

Oh Lordy, it must be springtime, I'm using fishing metaphors.

Trolling is defined as an inflammatory post used primarily for the purpose of irritating other members. Examples of trollish behavior include ... making offensive declarative statements ... and making personal accusations towards another forum member.

I and perhaps many other members did not see the other threads. What difference do the other threads make? I take your first post as "making an offensive declarative statement" as well as "making a personal accusation towards another forum member". You've decided that the member is a troll and his or her future thread will be trolling and you've singled them out as a troll- ie making a personal accusation.

I find you normally well above such stuff, but IMHO creating a thread to call someone a troll is trolling itself. Maybe the person deserves it, IDK- but that call is not yours to make unless you are a mod.
