This is sorta on topic, I bought my son a 2000 Grand Am in 2007. He is NOT the best at taking care of cars. Today the Grand Am has 300,000 plus miles on it with very few oil changes and is still running strong.

I've been supplying my college bound daughters with Buick Centurys, late 90s early 2000s.

I tell them "Nothing runs poorly longer than a GM car.".

Also, they hold up well in wrecks.....
Don't ask.

Agreed, I bought my accident prone daughter a 1989 Delta 88. This car was a one owner and had 89,000 mile on it when I bought it from a close friend. One year later it looks like s h i t. But still runs great.
