Another "negligent government thugs should have their b@lls used for World Cup practice" notice.
I'd settle for a personal lawsuit and the loss of their jobs, though, since this seems to be the usual means of justice for such things. Maybe he'll get enough money to buy their houses out of foreclosure and have the opportunity to hawk a loogie in their faces when they end up begging on a street corner in Point Loma or Oceanslime. |

Pot bust leads to five days without food or water
DEA agents apologize for forgetting college student in cell for four days
The Drug Enforcement Administration extended an apology to a University of California engineering student who was locked in a holding cell for more than four days and forgotten about. The student drank his own urine in desperation and attempted to kill himself, before agents returned four days later and found him, he said in a news conference covered by NBC and other outlets. An earlier statement from the San Diego DEA office was less contrite, with spokeswoman Amy Roderick saying that the student was caught in a drug raid because "he was at the house, by his own admission, to get high with his friends." Daniel Chong, 24, said that he was taken to the local DEA office after he was caught in a drug raid where he was smoking marijuana on April 20. The agents didn't charge him criminally and even told him they would drive him home, but apparently forgot about him in a tiny holding cell, where he languished for days without food, water, or a bathroom. Chong says he finally gave up on screaming for help, and eventually tried to kill himself with the glass from his spectacles and drank his own urine, sure he would die there.

Holy crap. It's hard to imagine what it would be like to yell for help until your strength ebbed away. Oh yeah, smoking pot is dangerous for one's health. So is prohibition 2.0.

So they want you to believe. Back when they did the whole "This is your brain on drugs" thing they tried to prove cannabis harmful. When they couldn't they literally asphyxiated the poor test monkeys trying. The resulting oxygen deprivation brain damage then sufficed for "proof". So if you spend 5 minutes breathing 60+ times concentrated cannabis smoke, without any additional oxygen, it is actually harmful to ones health.

Really, drug raid for marijuana? That shouldn't even happen in the first place.

I was hoping that the DEA agents would get fired. Now I hope they'll keep their jobs ... and get caught by Mexican drug traffickers and left in the desert, 50 miles from the nearest town in mid-summer. "Now walk, pendejo!" That would be karmic justice.

DEA are a bunch of jerk off cowboys, for the most part. This is inexcusable. Someone at management level needs to lose his job. War on drugs is a joke.
