If You have REAL German license plates, Here's where the came from

If you have real German license plates and would like to see what part of Germany your plates came from, here is a link for you to check out

https://www.google.com/search?q=http%3A%2F%2Fde.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2Fliste_der_kfz-kennzeichen_in_deutschland&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-USfficial&client=firefox-a
SELECT THE TOP GOOGLE CHOICE FOR WHAT COMES UP........SORRY

Depending on the first letter or letters your plate has before the first space you can see where it came from
ie: ( D UM06 74 ) the first space came between the D and the U so that plate is from the area marked as D for example
if it says ( DU M06 74 ) them your plate came from the area marked as DU

Thought everyone out there would enjoy this Link.
Let me know what you think.

Up to not so long ago,the first two letters in the plates in Germany indicated the City or State, ie, Berlin was B, Frankfurt was FR, etc.

Well, wouldn't you know it, I saw a photo in "Playboy"magazine (Hey everyone has to go the barber SOMETIME) and they went to Furstenburg, and took a photo of a license plate they found on a Mercedes Benz, there:
FU - CK69. Actually existed.

Yes it did. The funny thing is, because of the war we were thought by the adults around us that Germans were bad. I had to come to the US to learn that Germans are really nice people. My first girl in the USA who I dated for seven years was from Germany and so were many car photographers I used to work for when they came to California for shoots.

A relative of mine had plates that came from the DMV, not requested, just luck of the draw:
FCU-69P

Unbelievably funny, and likely not allowed today.

I was told the Plates over there get yarded all the time.
If you havent paid yout ins. or MOT or reg. the cops will come and take them right off your car. or at least scrape your tags and them make you turn them in . If any of the above mentioned happens you have to get all new plates registered to you. apparently they throw plates away all the time over there

Well, I've got about 200 sets I brought back from Germany in 1997-1999. Maybe I should keep them longer and sell them all on Ebay. they have all the cool stickers too!

Yeah, having the stickers makes them better I think.
I have about 50 matching sets and about 50 single ones also
most of them have stickers
