Trailer trash take to the track ...

Title says it all, and the video finishes the sentence. Brilliant:

I really find the term Trailer Trash offensive. Plenty of fine people live in Trailers.

sweet

Keep in mind that there are ppl worse off than trailer trash. Not only are ppl like this in the US there are many more throughout the world. We don't call them woods trash or tropical paradise trash do we? Does it make one person feel surperior to another person when they refer to other as trailer trash? In reality, you don't know what kind of a person is until you have had some face to face time for a few.

Personally, being referred to as a red neck or trailer trash does not bother me but that is just me.

That, and "double wide common" - which, sad to say, I've seen used by members of this forum in the past.

As far as the video - at first, I thought I was watching another tongue-in-cheek challenge from the three wise men in the UK - Clarkson, May, and Hammond.

I think the term "trailer trash" has less more to do with a person's disposition than their place of residence.

I like the fact that you covered all the bases.

*******

Curiously, while "trailer trash" is clearly a derogatory term, "trailer queen" is quite the opposite.

LeMons = racing series for $500 junkyard cars
$500 junkyard cars = mostly trash (not the drivers).

Some people need to grow a sense of humor, sheesh.

... or in apartments. (Read: my asshat neighbors who'd fight at 3 am and throw things at the wall.)

And many NYC apartments have less square footage than a double wide.
