Farewell sweet W124.

You will surely be missed.

Sold to a new owner?... or....?

Yes.

always a sad day to see them go... but, if something comes along, you have a little more room to have another project. a small silver lining I guess

I guess.

Just a sad day, I put so much time into that car making it "mine"....

Had a great run, met some of my best friends through that car.

:(

Ah the memories!

You pulling the steering wheel out of it?

We're no longer gonna have matching steering wheels :(

I know the feeling a little... Met some darn nice people from this forum. met a couple in person too. the car may be leaving... but your friendships forged because of it last on. a fitting remembrance of any vehicle.

But now, time for a new adventure ;)

We've been good friends for quite awhile, now..;

In fact, I consider you my FIRST one, I met that has introduced me to the wore of MB enthusiasts up here, and my adventures took off from there.

That wagon holds lots of memories for me also, and Iknow it's been your first.

Lots of meetups, lunches and some...ahem...maybe.. a few little little races that may not have been looked on favorably by the constabulary if they saw....

Wow. I guess the writing has been on the wall. Look at it as "Happy Trails" rather than "The Party's Over."

Never thought I'd see that. thanks for the smile :)

Sadly, yes.
