I found the most interesting part to be the claim that Turkish immigrant teachers here on visas are required to give 40% of their salary back to the Gulen Movement in cash. That would be a huge amount of taxpayer money being fed into the coffers of the movement.

Al wasn't a registered religion.
There's a lot of money going under the radar when you claim to be a religion.

True this. However there has to be a mechanism that can be put in place to moniter this organisation.

Do you know that they have been banned in Malaysia and Singapore?

No, this is the first I've heard of it.

Did you know that Al Capone's business card said that he was a used furniture salesman?

I'm really curious as to how the money moves between individuals and the Gulen Movement. Is there a central accounting office? If so, where is it? The teacher who had to send 40% to the movement--where did he send it? I'm pretty sure the local institutions are set up as some kind of non-profit. Does it go there and then from the local to Gulen himself in Philadelphia? And how does the money move back outwards? Someone has to pay for all the hotel rooms for the thousands of US people that the movement takes to Turkey each year. Is that paid for by the central office? Do local people or the tour hosts make those payments? Are the hotels and their owners asked to donate the rooms? Same with car rentals and airline tickets within Turkey. How are those paid for?

Excellent questions, I am also curious as to how they have their tax accounts set up.
