Parental fail: washing machine

Good Lord. Dad puts kid in washing machine and turns it on. Thought it would be a good joke I reckon:

Oh boy. Words fail. Maybe the guy was just messing around with his kid, when - to his surprise - he realized the machine started and he couldn't open the door!
The world is full of dangerous idiots!

They should save the video and play it back to the kid when - or IF (with parents like that) - he turns 18. He'll have two good reasons to be pissed off -

One - that his parents endangered his life in this way.

Two - that he's RELATED to these two morons.

Once again, we need a license to drive a car yet any yutz can bring a kid into this world.

As a young'un we used to take turns putting each other in our friend's parents' dryer while they were at work. It explains a lot...

Sorry, I don't agree with the premise.

I see a fellow who put the kid in the machine as a laugh. If you look carefully, he never touches a single control on the panel and, IMHO, never intended for the machine to start. In fact, he's horrified that it does start when he closes the door.

I'm a bit perplexed why the machine started upon door closure. There doesn't appear to be any money inserted into the machine or any settings made prior to putting the kid in there.

Putting the kid inside for the sole purpose of seeing him look through the glass isn't the same offense.

The only thing I can figure is that the lady put the money in the machine first, before putting the clothes in. Not the way I do it, but sometimes one wants to get the quarters out of the hand so you can load the clothes.

You do make a good point. If it was a freak intersection of dad playing a rare but goofy and essentially innocent joke and a machine that malfunctioned and turned on w/o money being inserted, it is much less of an indictment of the father.
