He already has his election strategy and answers ready.. Just "No Comment". His campaign slogan is "I will not tell a lie". Wouldn't that be great. I had rather vote for a NO COMMENT president as one that will tell a lie just to get votes.

What a novel idea!:)

Bear is one soul who could probably manage not to tell a lie too!:D

Another Dem could say 'f*** you' to his sorry excuse for a party and run as an independent.

That's one thing I actually love about Mayor Bloomberg -- he switched party affiliations at will for strategic purposes. Didn't like the ideology of either side, and threw them away like a used Kleenex when it suited him.

No. Not since FDR when they capped it at two terms total.

2 ELECTED terms. You could serve more than 8 years if you were VP and took over if president quit or died.

Correct. That was the LBJ scenario before he decided not to seek his second elected term.

I have used his " If nominated, I will not run. If elected, I will not serve" on several occasions to refuse a nomination to several positions over the years. One of the more straightforward statements made by any politician, ever.

Lets say we have a President who is a Dem. He has only served 1 term. Can another Dem run against him? If they can't, why not? If they can, why didn't they? I don't like my choices. I don't vote 'Party' I vote for the person. I think I will do a write in. My dog Bear. I think he would be better than the other chooses. He see's a problem, he fixes it, not make it worse. He knows how to get anything he needs with out making any one mad. He is caring, loving, and doesn't require corrections. He does what is right to begin with. Yes, I think I will do a write in.

Paul

What comes out of your dog can't be any worse than what comes out of Washington. In fact, much of it is one and the same.
