Pulled the summer toy out of storage today.
Towed it back in to town today with my K5 Diesel, I store it at a buddies parents farm just a little ways out of town, they dont have any animals so there is tons of secure covered space available, since Portland only gets about 2 months of nice weather a year, out of season storage is way more important than were you are going to put it while you are using it. Im gonna try to make it down to Lake Shasta in north Cali, this summer, Ive never been out on the lake there before. Just put a new fresh water pump in at the end of the season when It got winterized so I should be all good to go this year. Its an 02 22' Geko direct drive Mercruiser 5.7L with tuned port FI, 320HP rating

Sounds like lots of fun~
But there are loads of houseboats, many of them rented, out on Lake Shasta in the summer, and many of them full of drunk people partying, and doing crazy stuff, so keep your eyes out for them. Have fun!

Nice!
I've still got to pull mine out of mothballs. I'm thinking it's going on the market, though. My last bit of sacrifice as a one income household until my wife starts working next year when my younest starts school full time (15 years now!). We've outgrown it so it's due for a replacement anyway. It'll just be a little sooner than I wanted.
