You can do it! Feed me, Swamp! (Carnivorous plants)

Here are a few pics of our office mascot, not so creatively named Audrey III. She was a stray we took in, was not in good shape before we first got it, but is now thriving.

Planning its attack:


It's covered with pitchers:


"Belly" full of critters:



It's a Pitcher Plant (it's a Nepenthes but I don't know what variety). Would PETA approve of their diet?

PITCHER PLANT! I've had several! Massive things... I had one outside for years (it died) thing ate lizards O_o

No worse than the other office occupants.

Only if it gets too full of bugs. This one uses color as an attractant but some do have an...aroma.
