So I was going to fold a printing job today.

So I put the paper in the tray and turned the folder on and went to turn on the vacuum switch. Nothing happened, and then I looked in the bottom of the folder cart and noticed that the whole air pump assembly was missing. Then I started looking around and noticed that many tools and metal press covers missing.

And the worst part is that I know who took everything.

Robert...do the right thing and call the cops in on this matter. It won't stop if you don't make it stop.

I'd second the cops if you can't get ahold of the main culprit, just in case you have to go through insurance to get some of the stuff back you'll have an itemized police report for valuation.

She has until tomorrow to bring back the missing parts. I suspect that my $1500 vacuum pump is in a scrap yard somewhere. The police WILL be called tomorrow. I am also making her leave. She cussed me out and said that I will never see her or our Grand kids again. :( For everyone else here, JP and I have been talking about this situation for some time. My daughter has been stealing the wife and I blind. The folder pump was in a storage room and that's why I didn't notice it missing until today. I have a folding job to do that I will have to do by hand.

Hard decisions ahead. Sorry you have to deal with this on top of the others.

The culprit is my daughter.

What really pisses me is that the pump she took to the scrap yard was a very specific pump designed to work with my paper folder. I am going to have to try to rig something until I can find another one.

Very sad when family relationships break down to this degree. Some disagreement can be considered normal and worked out usually.

To attack your parents is fundementally wrong no matter what feelings are involved. To steal from anyone is really wrong too.

I have to wonder about your daughters general mental condition and age. Sometimes a total parting is unavoidable I suppose. Still a kind of really sad occurance.. Is she involved in the modern drug culture? Something like that would explain a lot. Still not justifying the behaviour though.

Is this a question of spite or money?
