The law is bad enough. hey have an incredibly high teen pregnancy and they pass this lunacy. The best part is this little gem.

I am embarrassed that these half wits are part of the US. Gate way sexual behavior? Hell, these classes are gateway behavior by not teaching kids that sex can get you knocked up and there are ways to prevent it.

Intimate parts? He cannot even say the word genitals? Good grief how unprofessional.

Don't students learn about basic human anatomy in bio class any more? My HS bio textbook (Campbell's Biology) had about a 5-page section on human genital development, including rather detailed drawings of male, female, and lactiferous organs.

All I know is that when I copped a feel it was by no means guaranteed that I was getting laid. A lot of work was required to progress beyond that point. There were also times when a feel was not required to get laid.

This law is incredibly wise, young people should only fumble into an intimate situation on their wedding night chaperoned by a local priest to give advice on the best positions for 100% pregnancy.

I think one of the basic flaws in this law is that the backers of it do not understand this. They did not have enough information on the subject to make a realistic decision.

Therefore I think they should hire David as a Tech Advisor on the subject and pay him a fee of no less than $1,000,000,000 for his expertise, expertise that not only took years to come by, but was attained at great personal risk to himself.

If only they would check with us first........

I attended a Bible college with a six inch rule. Never closer than six inches to the opposite sex. Roughly 70 students in my freshman class. 4 got pregnant. I once did some rough calculations on the average number of sex acts which would have had to occur to produce 4 pregnancies. A substantial number. Was that number of sex acts less than the number that would have occurred without the rule. I doubt it.

But the rule was quite successful. It's main purpose is not to limit sex acts, but to induce a sense of sin and guilt in everyone who contemplates sex outside of marriage. This awareness of sin and guilt produces a sense of inferiority which makes people more susceptible to control by authorities. These people in TN are not unaware of these facts. They are using tried and true methods to establish social control.
