non political- shipping company lost 4 toilets

ordered 4 energy efficient toilets for a job, big items, large boxes and heavy. Somehow, the shipping company bringing them to my shop has managed to misplace them.

Just had a fun conversation with the lady, who is having their warehouses searched for 4 boxes, 3 feet x 2 feet x 3 feet.

They have been in transit for 20 days between Boston and Providence, a distance covered in 40 minutes by car. Im wondering if a truck turned over or something.

Is the customer notified of that kind of disaster? or a wreck or something?

lol, maybe they installed them in the warehouse. SOBs.

They are nice, over 800 apiece for two of them. Very specific size restriction for an old home to be updated, but with no space.

What the heck is an energy efficient toilet? Vacuum sucks on your ass so you have to work less hard to expel waste?

Hopefully that wasn't a "tongue in cheek" question!

Uses less water per flush than older versions.

I'd bet they delivered them to the wrong place. Maybe they were boosted. Will be interesting for them if that's what happened.

these ones use less water like you say, and also have that two function flush, depending on necessity, which saves even more water.

Also the two small ones are a single piece, with no separate tank, which is pretty cool making them way easier to clean.

$%&@ I hope they didn't deliver them to the wrong place, but thats likely what happened.

May be interesting for them, but going to be way worse for me, since im the one out big money and will have to fight everyone. we will see

Yes. One piece toilets have no gap between the tank and the base making them easier to clean and less likely to leak.

the low profile toilets are also very quiet,

i have some toilets in my building that have a vacuum tank in the main tank that sucks on the water feom the drain side while flushing to make it flush more vigourously with less water.

they work really well but prevent plunging if plugged so as they develop problems we are removing the vac tanks from the storage tanks and converting them to conventional wc's that don't suck (that sounds really bad doesn't it?).

well, when the subject is toilets, the opportunity for puns is certainly commodious.

so called the supplier, she called the shipping company, and miraculously, they are suddenly going to be delivered today. Guess they must have misplaced them, the supplier who was much more candid said the things had been sitting in a warehouse in town for about 10 days, 5 miles away from me.
