Any "Fruits" Here?......
The wife and I was at the Krogers grocery store today and the seeded watermelons was $2 higher than the seedless watermelons. Why is that? it use to be the other way around.

What!!! no watermelon professionals here?

Must be an over supply of the seedless ones. We find the seeded ones have more flavor.

Do you know where they were grown?
Its a bit early in your summer for an oversupply. There are seedless ones in the supermarket down here at the moment yet its mid winter for us!!!! |
The watermelon cartel is concerned that the ppls will take the seeds and grow their own:D.

Genetic selection. They keep crossing watermelons with few seeds with others that have few seeds until they get a batch of seeds for seedless melons
