Your favorite indie film...

I'm sitting back in the easy chair, enjoying my favorite indie film...The World's Fastest Indian.

What's your favorite?

That's one of my favorites too. Just saw, My Reincarnation. It's quite intriguing.

Bottle Shock and Blow Dry

2 really good indy films with Alan Rickman, who I also went to see on Broadway this year.

I'm not sure which films are independent and which aren't. I googled a couple of sites that listed the greatest indie films. The following jumped out as the best for me:
"Psycho"
"Fargo"
"The Graduate"

I did not see "Office Space" listed. If it is independent, then it definitely belongs on the list.

"The Devil's Rejects" is another good one.

To be serious I would have to say 'The King's Speech'.

Left Field-The Movie, a docu-film about one of the summer adult (some marginally) kickball leagues in Chicago. My little sis was prominently featured.

I didn't realize the King's Speech was an indie, I really enjoyed that. Fargo, too. The World's Fastest Indian is on my list to see.

Saw the first the other day and oddly enough I found that we have the VHS of the 2nd (Still need to watch it though)

I'll 2nd the Office Space nomination.

What's VHS?

Office Space is one of my all-time favorites.

I don't know if it's an indie. I guess I don't know what an indie is exactly. All movies get made by somebody. This film may not be the best way to start your day, and probably isn't good to watch before going to bed either. Highly recommended none the less. About kids, failing schools and a whole lot more.

Detachment.

Adrian Brody.

You can stream it on Amazon, not on netflix yet AFAIK.

The Guard

just saw this last night and it is funny as hell, especially if you have ever been to Ireland.
