cool plane. lots of interesting stuff going on a Mecham Field like that. I remember visiting a group that was manufacturing Japanese ZEKE fighter planes.
The judge was a lawyer, one may suppose. It is possible that he had the dinero to buy one. Just b/c they were asking a couple of M for them doesn't mean they sold for that. Private aviation companies are notorious whores for cash..... And, they didn't make just one, as the story indicates, but couldn't easily make more b/c of the loss of some key bucks for the airframe. |
