I think the Gold and Silver in Whitewater C-2 may have been aided by the fact that it was the Brits home course.

Cycling and rowing seems to have been their suits with 18 total medals just in those two sports.

We start paying what they are for petrol, and we would probably get a lot better at the human powered sports too...

anyone else have the on demand olympics thing? Ive been super impressed by my cable coverage this year, over other years.

The whole olympics came up as on demand choices, divided by sport, and separated into highlights and full coverage. This year ive been able to watch almost all of it without commercial interruption and many of the cycling events that I love, and usually miss.

I missed it. Kept reminding myself to Tivo it and kept forgetting anyhow. I heard it was quite the course.

BTW Kerry, this is a fun series to read. Several guys endeavored to pub crawl 150 miles down the Thames in Kayaks and a paddle board. Needless to say they only made it about half way. I didn't realize there was much recreational boating on the Thames.
