Best upgrade I ever did to my car.

I did a complete suspension upgrade to my Volvo 780 Bertone, some engine modifications but nothing beats this $39 upgrade. Took me a day to install the wheelskin; did a double cross stitch. Didn't like my first try so I did it again and next time I will take of the steering wheel to make the work a little easier.

You didn't build that. LOL.

In all seriousness, nice upgrade.

Nice job. I need one of those for my Avalon.
Does the wheel skin hide imperfections on the oem wheel.
Mine has small pieces missing, like little divots. Small cuts.

Just wondering if I need to make the wheel perfectly smooth prior to installation. Maybe with some sort of flexible putty. Chewing gum. LOL

I looked at the website. $54 Is that the place to buy them? Or are they less expensive elsewhere?

True, but there was a lot of sweat and swearing involved.

I got mine from IPD but the brand is:Wheelskins, it did smoothen out the steering wheel, nut sure about large imperfections. Worth every penny if you don't want to spent big dollars on a leather Italian steering wheel.

I replaced the original deteriorating rubber steering wheel on my 89 190E with a leather wheel original to a 190E 2.3-16v. Love the firm but smooth grip!!
