Had to put down our beloved dog, Peewee, yesterday

We had to do yesterday what we've been dreading for the past few months.

We had to make the decision to put our beloved dog, Peewee, to sleep.

I told everyone that Peewee was a once-in-a-lifetime dog. I always believed that we are blessed with one special dog in our lives that is just special.

Pee wee was that dog for us.

Peewee was more human than dog. She just understood people.

She had the kindest and gentlest soul imaginable. Peewee had such a calm and loving personality that she gave comfort and compassion to everyone that met her.

She will be missed more than words can describe.

R.I.P. good friend.

Sorry to hear that, Paul. The love of a dog, and the way they return that love, is special.

Been there and done that quite a few times. You are their voice. You have to know when to let them say good bye. You did the right thing although knowing that does not make it easier.

Looks like a fine pooch. Too bad they have to leave us so quickly.

Condolences on a hard decision. Our furry canine friends rely upon us for so much, including when it is time to go. Never an easy choice. \

May Peewee romp pain free across the Rainbow Bridge.
We had to send our beloved Kiki there about 6 weeks ago.
She was our heart dog.
It is never easy, but you did her her final biggest act of love.
RIP Peewee

Always a sad sad day for me when I have to do this. The dog possibly having no concept of death and us knowing that it is required mitigates it slightly. But not much.

As I think I have mentioned before our fourteen year old sky terrior mix is geting nearer to the end of the road. On heart medication that he needs and deaf now but still fairlty spry for his age. Perhaps has not a lot of time left I suspect. As long as he seems relativly content and without serious pain or total lack of mobility. He will live for awhile yet I hope.

The vet thought he would be in great difficulty during the past warmer summer period. It did not seem to bother him so another year is perhaps possible. My condolences of course go out to you.

Very saddened to hear this Paul. You are right about only getting one special dog, but somehow I defied that rule and have had two, one when I was a Junior High & High Schooler and the other while my kids were growing up.

All my thoughts to you and I hope the girls always remember Pee Wee.

losing my fist dog was one of the most painful experience in my life and I have a beautiful old girl that looks about as old as your little dog in the picture. I'm cherishing every day that she's with us. I'll be thinking about Peewee in my prayers.
