NO! Voter Fraud NEVER Happens!

Here's a link for those of you living in a dream world where voter fraud never happens. For some of you it will be even MORE shocking since it was one of your "never do wrong" Democrats as the confessed perpetrator.

No one said that, or even implied as such.

Larry:

Given that the vote fraud issue has usually been discussed on this forum relative to the Republican plan to rig the fall election through Democrat voter disenfranchisement, can you tell me how a requirement to present picture ID at the voting polls would have prevented this circumstance?

You're mixing your oranges and apples. Photo ID's have NOTHING to do with the example in the OP.

What you are protesting is a step toward a more honest and legitimate election due to requirement of photo ID. Those nasty repubs should be ashamed of themselves for desiring an honest and legitimate election. How absolutely outrageous can they possibly get?

Photo ID's are required for everything under the Sun, even for many government programs. What are you libs afraid of when requiring Photo ID's to vote as required for most everything else? Anyone gullible enough to believe that requiring Photo ID's would disenfranchise LEGITIMATE voters is drinking WAY too much of B.O.'s and withHolder's Kool Aid.

You missed it yet again.

What is being argued is that requiring photo ID 1. does not fix the voter fraud in the example that you gave 2. disenfranchises a significant portion of the population that has a constitutional right to vote 3. cost money to implement and (see #1) does not fix the problem that the advocates are trying to fix.

Kind of like changing trans. oil to fix an engine problem.

Must have missed this question, which was in direct response to the topic of your OP.

Edit: I'm not quite sure what the point of posting this thread is. Is your argument that voter fraud simply exists? If that is what you're arguing then there is nobody who will disagree with you (nor have they ever suggested such). Before getting any further, can you clarify what your point is here? So far I see a broad and schizophrenic way of saying that you don't like democrats.

Even Doonesbury isn't saying there's no fraud. The corollary story is . . . voting rules and regulations have NEVER been used to suppress voter participation, right?

you know why. In the past, the truthfulness of whether or not voter fraud was personally seen by you know who was doubted by forum members.

Now, in you know who's logical progression of self conflicting logic, arguing that he didn't personally see something turns into doubting that such a thing can in fact take place at all. They suddenly hold the same value, and now hold the same meaning.

You see, sometimes when you start with a grape, its possible to convince yourself that that grape is actually an orange, but easier to argue as if its an apple, because after all, apples, oranges, and grapes are all part of the dairy group.

As an example-

I say I saw a man do a backflip. You say I didn't see that man because my story is ridiculous. Are you saying that no one has ever done a backflip? Are you saying it never happens? you are naive sir, because clearly here is evidence of such things happening.

Naturally, your definition of a LEGITIMATE voter warrants some exploration. I'm sure that you will come back and tell me that your definition is limited to living U.S. citizens qualified to vote, who would vote just one time per election. But let's come off it Larry, isn't it true that your real idea of a legitimate voter is someone who is white and happens to hold conservative political views? I'll bet that you would recoil in horror seeing people of color who live in urban areas coming to the polling booths. After all, they're obviously up to no good.

Hey find a link to someone on this forum claiming 1)voter fraud never happens and/or 2) That Democrats are never a part of it. If you can do it I'll send you a big old present.

He needs an apology before he will provide any proof or explanations of anything.
