I sure didn't hear apologies about this...

Nope...there weren't any riots, fire bombs, or deaths from this either.

"Christians" have been known to get riled up over issues . . . fire bombs, riots and death resulting, in the US. Don't you agree?

Also, what's with the "apology" rhetoic and the GOP taking heads? When was there an apology?

Apparently anything less than sending nuclear weapons to riots is considered an apology. Otherwise, apology is just a con. buzzword that they know if repeated often enough will be assumed true by the sheeple.

You don't call this an apology?

Quote:
The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims — as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions. Today, the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, Americans are honoring our patriots and those who serve our nation as the fitting response to the enemies of democracy. Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy. We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others.
The above was released by the US embassy in Cairo before the protest began.

Yep, that's an apology all right. Good catch, JP. Stating to the world that we're a democracy that respects religious beliefs and doesn't embrace anti-religious rhetoric, well that's as much of an arse-kissing apology as I have ever seen.

Seconded, The Bill of Rights is an obvious sign of our national meekness.

Sarcasm aside, something about this smells fishy. I had to search to find out anything about this "movie", yet, people in third world countries were aware of it. A suspicious man might think that someone is trolling.

I actually read something that it was originally a movie about Egypt, and they just dubbed some garbage over top of it for the trailer. It's all so comically set up that people take it serious is nothing short of the most pathetic display of human regression toward a literal vegetative state. You basically have to have brain damage to take this whole thing seriously.

I mean for God's sake, go to 0:35 for starters:
Sam Bacile - prophet Muhammad movie ( that kill U.S. ambassador & others in Libya) - YouTube

It's like the powers that be are just f*****g around at this point, to prove that the average idiot isn't worth keeping alive. It's wag the dog, without the effort and a budget of like $17.50. They held the casting at starbucks after a group-interview session, then took the throwbacks, and chose the worst of even them.

Doesn't an apology include an admission of fault? I don't see any admission of fault in that statement.

I take it that you disagree with the embassy's statement. Which part do you disagree with?

It was unfortunate when Mr. Romney erroneously called the embassy statement an apology last week . . . but with a weeks worth of hindsight, timelines and fact checking, for anyone to continue to claim it was an apology, that's truly sad.

But say one bad thing about Mohammed, and it's "off with their heads"
